History
The naissance of the association was in the late 1980’s.
The Sport Sciences Association was found in 1992.
The aim of the association was to contribute the the development of sport sciences in Turkiye. The International Sport Sciences Congress is the most important scientific event of the association which organised by Hacettepe University for the first time in 1990 is still-continuing today.
